International Women’s Forum – New Mexico advances women’s leadership through purposeful engagement, shared learning, and meaningful collaboration. We create spaces where senior women leaders explore ideas, exchange insight, and strengthen one another’s impact—cultivating an environment defined by candor, growth, and trust.
New Mexico Historic Women Marker Program
Many extraordinary women have helped shape this state. Not long ago, their stories were nearly invisible; out of more than 500 Scenic Historic Markers, only one honored a woman.
IWF-NM decided that had to change. This effort became the New Mexico Historic Women Marker Program which has helped bring more than 100 women’s stories to the forefront—bold, diverse, and finally seen.
LEAP
Leadership Empowerment Advocacy Program (LEAP) is IWF‑NM’s signature pathway for lifting up the next generation of New Mexico women leaders.
It begins with a simple spark: established leaders opening doors for emerging ones.
Through connection, encouragement, and shared experience, LEAP helps rising young women step into their power—building confidence, expanding networks, and strengthening the future of women’s leadership across our state.
Networking and Programming
Connection is a catalyst for women’s leadership. When IWF-NM members come together—whether in conversation, shared learning, or meaningful engagement—they gain access to extraordinary women from across New Mexico and beyond.
These member‑only experiences deepen insight, broaden opportunity, and strengthen each woman’s voice in leadership, creating a community where support and growth are woven into every interaction.
