Who We Are.
Our members lead Fortune 500 companies, conduct symphonies, innovate in medicine, shape public policy, run universities, and build businesses. They also give back generously, serving on boards, mentoring emerging leaders, and strengthening communities statewide.
We are the women moving New Mexico forward.
IWF‑NM brings together trailblazers from every corner of the state — executives, scientists, ranchers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, public servants. We create a powerful network where women leaders connect, grow, and elevate one another.
For nearly four decades, we’ve offered a confidential, trusted space where women can talk candidly about leadership — the wins, the pressures, the decisions, and the moments that can feel isolating at the top. Here, those conversations spark insight, courage, and lifelong friendships.
We celebrate women’s achievements through statewide initiatives, storytelling, and programs that highlight the expertise of our members. And through our global IWF network, members gain access to leaders across six continents — expanding perspectives and possibilities.
Although membership in IWF-NM is by invitation only, our commitment to empowering women extends to all women.
We Inspire. We Empower. We Lead.
Our Mission

As an Affiliate of the International Women’s Forum, we embrace their goals and support their efforts to establish an international community of women leaders and support the IWF’s Leadership Foundation to help prepare future generations of women leaders.

Leadership & Governance
IWF‑NM is guided by a Board of Directors of 12–15 members, including an annually elected President, President‑elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Members‑at‑Large. This Executive Committee oversees policy, finances and organizational direction, bringing recommendations to the full membership at quarterly meetings.
Much of our work happens through smaller committees—standing and ad hoc—that rotate annually. These groups offer members another meaningful way to contribute, collaborate and deepen relationships while advancing the Forum’s mission.
