ITINIERARY
March 25
– Thursday. Register in at your lodging and then
join IWF members at New Mexico Women’s Forum members’
homes for a Moveable Feast dinner.
March 26
– Friday, 7:30 a.m., depart for the Santa Fe Ski
Area for breakfast and a morning of skiing. Meet and ski
with members of the New Mexico Winter Sports Alliance,
some of whom are US ski area founders, WWII 10th Mountain
veterans and others, ready to host you around the mountain.
Rental equipment must be arranged in advance. We’ll
car pool. Lift tickets, lunch extra. We can lunch at the
Ski Area, then return to town for a quick change of clothes
and a mid-afternoon tour of a Santa Fe collector’s
WWII military collection – many vehicles and more.
A rare and special opportunity.
Friday evening the Conference will host a special members-only
Dine Around so we’ll plan on a dinner together for
us guests.
March 27
– Saturday, 10 a.m., Bring your camera, digital
or film. We head for Nambe Pueblo and visit their buffalo
herd and Cloud Eagle’s art studio. Lunch TBD. We’ll
also tour Tsankawi Indian Ruins (must be able to climb
down 20 foot ladders) - near Los Alamos. Car pool.
Saturday evening Closing Dinner with IWF Members. |
